Part of the SF Experience!

San Francisco is a great city to visit…hey, it’s The City, not Some City! When people come to SF, there are MUST SEE/DO things that every tourist has on their list. Let’s review:

  • Walk across the Golden Gate Bridge
  • Visit Alcatraz
  • Ride a Cable Car
  • Fisherman’s Wharf
  • Lombard Street
  • Go to a Giant’s Game (Go Giants!)
  • A Million Other Things
  • Catch Beach Blanket Babylon

After reading Richard Connema’s review of The Barbary Coast Revue on the blog Talkin’ Broadway, clearly we need one more bullet

“There are many theatrical gems in our fair city. Just to name a few, Beach Blanket Babylon, Lamplighters, Champaign White and Foodies the Musical have graced our city by the bay. I would add just one more to the list: The Barbary Coast Revue, now in its third year and now playing at the Balançoire Club in the heart of the Mission District.”

  • Get Dinner & a Show at The Barbary Coast Revue!

But this transformation from a “ramshackle, plucky troupe” into a theatrical gem (thanks Richard Connema!) didn’t just happen. During our 2nd season at SUB/Mission, we had that first hint that we would become part of “The SF Experience”. We had a sold-out show and the amazing folks at SUB/Mission knocked out a 3-ft wall just hours before the show so that we could accommodate more seating. The additional seating allowed us to let a family of 5 in that had come hoping to buy tickets at the door, not knowing the show was sold out. The family had their grandfather visiting from Missouri, we just had to get these folks in! They had spent the day at Alcatraz and wanted to cap off their day in San Francisco seeing The Barbary Coast Revue!

Yep, Alcatraz and then The Barbary Coast Revue! A perfect day in The City By The Bay!

So, after a day of sightseeing, come on down to The Barbary Coast Revue and eat, sing, laugh and delight in “a 90-minute history of San Francisco, from the gold rush days to the big earthquake of 1906, told in 24 songs sung by an amazing cast of seven very talented young singers.” – Talkin’ Broadway

Get your tickets now and see you at the show!
